Gov. Patrick Morrisey (R) appointed Watt to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 48 on October 3, 2025, to replace Tom Clark.[1]
Biography
Gregory Watt is a retired U.S. Army officer. Watt earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia and a master's degree from Webster University. He also received military education at the Joint Forces Staff College and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. His career experience includes defense contracting and program management, as well as serving as the director of programmatic solutions architecture at JANUS Research Group.[2]
