Gregory Woll, born and raised in Schuylkill County, graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School in 2003. With a rich family history of military service, he decided to follow in his family's footsteps and enlisted in the military that same year. Initially enlisting to serve with the 365th Engineering Battalion out of Schuylkill Haven, Gregory later opted for active duty service in 2005. He served with the 4th Infantry Division based out of Fort Hood, Texas, and completed two tours in Iraq in 2005 and 2007. During his deployments, Gregory made a commitment to further his education and earned an associate degree in Information Technology. After completing his military service, he returned to Schuylkill County and became a partner in a family-owned renewable energy business, catering to customers in Schuylkill County and neighboring areas. He continued to pursue his educational aspirations, culminating in the achievement of his bachelor's and master's degrees in Information Science and CyberSecurity from The Pennsylvania State University. Following his academic accomplishments, Gregory transitioned to full-time employment with Air Products and Chemicals for a few years before joining Trimble, where he presently serves as a Principal Cyber Security Engineer.
- Greg believes in a small government that provides the best services without excessive taxation.
- Personal Liberties and Property rights are two of the main things the Gregory believes needs to be protected
- An open and transparent government is paramount for an informed populace to ensure the government stays in check.
I am passionate about ensuring that the Government is open and transparent as possible. Additionally I believe that we need to have more community input from the citizens of Schuylkill County.
I also believe that Government should run as lean as possible and be fiscally responsible with the taxpayers dollars. This ties into the other aspect of being open and transparent. All citizens should be able to know exactly where their tax dollars are being spent and how. Additionally, they should have the ability to air their disagreement with the sitting Commissioners and have an open dialogue with them.

My first job was working for my Grand Uncle at his Auto repair shop. I had it for the summer so about 3 months.
Open and honesty, the ability to work with people from all walks of life and being available for all constituents.
The core responsibilities is to ensure the tax payer money is used in a fiscal manner while ensuring the county is primed and ready for economic development by developing the proper economic footing from a government perspective.
One of the qualities that I possess that I believe would make me a successful officeholder is that I have worked with many people from all works of life and I believe that learning to work together with people to find common ground and move an organization forward is something that would be extremely useful as a politician in the role of a County Commissioner.
I would say currently my most recent and favorite book at this time is the Autobiography by Eric Idle. I loved reading about his life and growing up in the UK but eventually emigrating to the US.
