Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am 66 year old lifelong resident of Belmont County Ohio. I have been self employed since the age of 18. I have owned several businesses in the Ohio Valley .I am a graduate of Bellaire St.Johns High School amd attended Ohio University Belmont Tech and ReppertSchool of Auctioneering. I am a licsend Auctioneer Realtor and an aircraft pilot at 18. I enjoy gardening and antique boats and autos. I am a practicing Roman Catholic and enjoy reading, playing piano and guitar and writing songs

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• LETS MAKE AMERICA SANE AGAIN  !!!!!
• Lets find ways to use Ohios vast resource of coal
• Bring manufacturing back to theUnited States

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Care of our Elderly. There are many older Americans who do not have to go to nursing homes if they could receive mostly unskilled care at home. There are hundreds of thousands of people in Eastern Europewho are retired trained professionals that would like to come here and care for our elderly.at a minimal cost. We need to look for unique ways to keep our elderly in their later years

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

John Glenn, Chuck Yeager ,Ronald Reagan, EB White

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

To follow the wishes of the constituents. But also to educate and assure the voters of important issues

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Expierience dealing with all type of problems. Since I was sixteen I made every decision forthe copanys I founded

What legacy would you like to leave?

That I have made a positive impact on our quality of life

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

The Kennedy assasination I was in Miss OMalleys third grade class at St Josephs

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

I was 15 years old and I landed a job at a truck stop fueling trucks and fixing truck tires worked at it till I graduated high school

What is your favorite book? Why?

The Big sleep

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Making the best possible informed decissions

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

Its ability to maintain a close a close contact with its constituents

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

No, Many times the best results are obtained outside the box

What do you perceive to be the United States’ greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

National security. The fact we are becoming over reliant on foriegn nations for steel, aluminum,medical supplies,fertilizer,and computer chips and chip based products.We need to become a stable authority in this unstable world

If you are not a current representative, are there certain committees that you would want to be a part of?

Tranportation, I have been a pilot since 17 years of age.I am a avid collector of antique cars and boats. Also anything to do with care for the elderly

Do you believe that two years is the right term length for representatives?

yes, it lets us fix mistakes promptly

What are your thoughts on term limits?

We already have term limits, Its called the ballot box. When incumbets have to face new challengers it is the better candidate who can overcome any adversities. The candidate who garners the most attention or has unique workable answers to problems are noticed and elected. I feel there are more dull and uninformed voters than dull and uninformed candidates

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

There are times that policy should not be diluted by compromise. There are ideals worth standing 100 per cent behind principles this country was founded and has survived upon

The Constitution says that all bills for raising revenue must originate in the House. What role would this power play in your priorities if elected?

I would try to shrink the size of goverment and avoid any increase in taxes
