Groveland Community Services District parcel tax, Measure D (June 2012)
A Groveland Community Services District parcel tax, Measure D ballot question was on the June 5, 2012 ballot for voters in the Groveland Community Services District in Tuolumne County, where it was defeated.[1]
If Measure D had been approved, it would have levied a $107 annual parcel tax on improved property and a $53 annual parcel tax on unimproved property in the district. This would have replaced an existing $84 annual tax that was expiring at the time of the vote on Measure D. The Measure D tax would have generated about $400,000 a year, or about a third of the annual budget of the district's fire department.[1]
