Guilford Jones, III was a judge for the Texas District 33.[1] Jones served as judge of District 33 from 1997 until 2012.[2]
2012 retirement
Jones announced on February 18, 2011 that he would not seek re-election to the District 33 bench in 2012. Jones explained “I want to stop while I’m still effective. I’m in good health and I want to enjoy life.”[2]
