Guy L. Reece, II is the former Presiding Judge for the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas in Columbus, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Bob Taft in July 2003 to fill the vacancy left by the election of Judge Lisa Sadler to the Tenth District Court of Appeals. Reece was elected to the court in 2004 and was re-elected in November 2012. His term expired on January 2, 2019.[1][2] Reece did not file for re-election in 2018.

Education

Reece received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1972 and his J.D. from The Ohio State University in 1981.[2]

Career

2012 election

Reece was re-elected after running unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012.[3] [4]
