I am a self employed general contractor and have been in business here in Maine since 1977. I served in the Maine Army National Guard as a combat engineer and obtained the rank of 1st Lt. I graduated Penn State University and studied computer science and architectural engineering. I served on planning boards and was a member of the Vineyard board of trustees. My dad was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and served for 22 years. He met my mother in France and that is where I was born. I am a naturalized citzen and whole heartly signed onto becoming an American when I was in Junior High School.
  • We need lower energy costs while still protecting our beautiful State. Removing the hydro cap of 100 mega watts on existing dams would be a great start. Lowering energy costs would encourage clean businesses to return to Maine. It would also lower the cost to heat and cool our houses. Lower food and manufactured goods would also happen.
  • It just go reported that Maine is going to experience a 1 billion dollar shortfall in the 2026 budget. This is a direct result of the super majority that is presently in control of our government in Augusta. We have to elect business minded individuals that have a heart for the people of Maine to rectify this disaster.
  • We have to put Maine citizens first and help our elders, disabled and our veterans.
Preserving the beauty of our State and improving the quality of Life while lowering the cost to live and work in Maine
An elected official needs to be polite and open to listening and hearing other people in civil conversations.
Elected representatives are the servants of their district. We need to remember who is paying our salaries and we need to work hard and be present to do our duties.
I would like to leave Maine how I found it when I first moved here. It was a beautiful state that was affordable to live in.
I pick potatoes in France for two months in order to buy my first 10 speed bike. This taught me the value of money and my work ethic.
All of us have to take the oath to honor and uphold the Constitution of the State of Maine. If we hold true to that oath we are on the same page.
A lot of people shared the same story that they are in a lot of financial trouble. They are not being able to pay their bills and are forced to come out of retirement and or get a 2nd or third job.
Budget, energy and marine resources, but I will serve wherever I am needed.
It would be honest and transparent if bills that come before the legislature were single issue with correct wording that truly represented what the intent was. For example 'Clean elections' should have been worded 'tax payer funded elections'. I believe if that referendum had been worded that way the people of Maine wouldn't have voted in 'clean elections'.
