Gwendeleyn Sanford was a 2011 Republican candidate for District 34 of the New Jersey State Senate. Sanford's candidacy was found invalid and her name removed from the ballot on April 17, 2011.[1]

Sanford was running in the 2011 election for New Jersey Senate District 34. She was removed from the ballot after her candidacy was found invalid on April 27, 2011. She was running against Republican candidate Ralph Bartnik for the primary on June 7, 2011. Democratic incumbent Nia Gill is running unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[2]
