H.G. Foster
H.G. Harry Foster is the Division 5 circuit judge of the Twentieth Circuit of Arkansas. Governor Mike Beebe appointed him to Division 1 of the court in 2013. He was elected to the Division 5 position in the nonpartisan judicial election 2014. Under Arkansas law, he could not run for the Division 1 seat because he was appointed to it.[1][2] His term will expire in 2020.[3]

General: He defeated Doralee Chandler in the general election on May 20, 2014, receiving 57.8 percent of the vote.

Education
Foster earned his undergraduate degree at Hendrix College in 1974. He earned his J.D. at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1977. He is also a graduate of the Faulkner County Leadership Institute.[2][5]
