H. Cary Payne was a district court judge for the 24th Judicial District's Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Virginia. He was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly in May 2012 to a term that commenced on July 1, 2013 and expired in 2016.

Career

Before he became a judge, Payne served as an assistant prosecutor for Amherst County, Virginia.
