Halim Dhanidina was a judge for Division 3 of the California 2nd District Court of Appeal. He assumed office in 2018. He left office on March 31, 2021.

Dhanidina ran for re-election for the Division 3 judge of the California 2nd District Court of Appeal. He won in the retention election on November 6, 2018.

Dhanidina retired from the court of appeals on March 31, 2021.[1]

Dhanidina was previously a judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California from 2012 to 2018. He was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown in May 2012 to a newly created position.[2]

Dhanidina was the first American-Muslim judge to be appointed to a California court.[2]

Dhanidina received his undergraduate degree from Pomona College and J.D. degree from UCLA School of Law.[2]
