The Hamburg Primary School Extension measure was on the ballot in Hamburg, Germany, on July 18, 2010. It was defeated, with 55 percent of voters opposing the issue.
The measure was designed to extend primary school from four years to six years. The state government proposed the extension as part of its education platform.[1]
