Hampton Harris (Republican Party) is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Alabama's 2nd Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the Republican primary scheduled on May 19, 2026.[source]
Biography
Hampton Harris was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He earned a bachelor's degree from Auburn University and a law degree from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law in 2023. His career experience includes working as a real estate brokerage firm owner, in the emergency department at Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama, and as an advocate in the Cumberland School of Law Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic.[1]
