Affordable Housing

The National housing crisis has reached Aurora and we need to begin creating and preserving affordable housing at a much higher rate than we do now. This should be the number 1 priority of council. This will protect our diversity, keep people housed and continue positive growth.

Immigrant Services
It is widely known that Aurora is the most diverse city in Colorado and home to immigrants from around the world. We need to do better job of helping new residents make the transition to our city.

Public Safety
Aurora has had a lot of challenges in Public Safety over the past few years. We have sadly made national news multiple times because of extreme acts of police violence. I am not a proponent of defunding the police but we must have more citizen oversight and transparency to heal the divide between the community and police.

Youth Enrichment
Aurora’s need better enrichment programs for youth as well as activities to better supplement their education in Aurora Public Schools. Aurora needs to continue to follow Denver’s lead in having a comprehensive evidence-based approach to youth violence prevention.

Small Business

COVID-19 illuminated many of the challenges our businesses face as well as the gaps between our city services and business owners. Our city has millions of dollars in aide and resources to distribute but needs a better system of outreaching to community.
I want to be a city council woman because the City Council matters to our City's quality of life and its future. I am running because I believe that with my skills, knowledge, and experience I can promote Aurora's quality of life, and I can help the Council become more effective in doing its job, to the benefit of all people of Aurora.
My mother, because she is a woman of prayer and hard work. I look up to many successful people that believe in hard work.
I am a caring leader dedicated to serve all people. I recognize the potential of Aurora on a global scale, from attracting foreign companies to embracing cultural diversity in our city, with my business background I can be a driving force for us to exemplify an international community with deep connections across the globe.
Bridge the gap between the council and the communities that need representation.
I want to do all the good I can and leave this earth empty
