Hannah Beth Rivera is a lifelong Kentuckian, attorney, wife, and mother with more than fifteen years of experience in higher education policy, government relations, and public service. A proud Republican, Hannah Beth has dedicated her career to strengthening Kentucky’s communities through common-sense leadership, accountability, and a deep respect for faith, family, and hard work.

As Chief of Staff and Vice President for External Affairs at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), Hannah Beth served on the President’s executive cabinet overseeing 16 colleges, 4,000 employees, and more than 100,000 students statewide. She worked closely with lawmakers, college presidents, and business leaders to expand career training, improve efficiency, and ensure taxpayer dollars were used wisely. She also guided legislative strategy, managed board relations, and built partnerships that strengthened Kentucky’s workforce and local economies.

Previously, Hannah Beth served as Manager of Government Affairs for KCTCS, where she built coalitions of business and education leaders to advocate for policies that expanded technical education and job training. Her ability to navigate complex legislative issues with integrity and transparency earned the trust of officials across party lines.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law and the University of Louisville, Hannah Beth believes in the power of education to open doors and change lives.
  • Addressing Cost of Living Hannah Beth is committed to easing the financial burden on families by addressing rising costs in housing, healthcare, childcare, higher education, and everyday necessities.
