Hans J. Liljeberg
Hans J. Liljeberg (Republican Party) was a judge for the 1st District of the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal. He assumed office in 2012. He left office on February 28, 2023.
Liljeberg (Republican Party) won re-election for the 1st District judge of the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal outright in the primary on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Liljeberg resigned on February 28, 2023 in order to run for a seat on the Jefferson Parish Council in Louisiana. [1]
Education
Liljeberg graduated from Tulane University in 1986.[2]
Career
Prior to his election to the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, Liljeberg was the Division N judge of the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana. He was elected to this position on October 5, 2002.[3][4]
