A Harmony Union School District parcel tax, Measure E ballot question was on the March 8, 2005 ballot for voters in the Harmony Union School District in Sonoma County, California, where it was defeated.
If Measure E had been approved, it would have levied an annual parcel tax of $52/parcel for eight years.
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.
As soon as Measure E failed, the school board of the district voted to put Measure L on the June 7, 2005 ballot. Measure L, which authorized a $52/year parcel tax, was approved.
Ten parcel tax proposals were on the March 8, 2005 ballot for voters in various public school districts in Sonoma County; only one of them was approved by voters.
