Harold A. Adler is an Acting Justice the Bronx County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 12th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to this position in 1992. He also serves on the New York City Civil Court.[1][2]

2011 election

Adler was re-elected after running unopposed for the New York City Civil Court in 2011.[3][4]

Biography and Education

Adler worked as an elementary school teacher in 1970 and 1971 before receiving his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1974.[1]

Career

Adler began his career as a VISTA volunteer, working as a legal services staff attorney from 1974 to 1976. He then joined South Brooklyn Legal Services, where he worked as a senior staff attorney from 1977 through 1991. In 1992, he was appointed to the New York City Civil Court. He was elected to a full term on this court in 2002. Since 1992, he has also served as an Acting Supreme Court Justice.[1]
