Harold E. Specht, Jr. was a 2014 candidate for the Ashtabula County Court of Common Pleas in Jefferson, Ohio. He ran for the seat being vacated by the retiring Judge Ronald Vettel.[1]

Specht is the chief assistant prosecutor of Ashtabula County, Ohio. He has served as county prosecutor for twelve years and has been chief assistant prosecutor since 2008.[1]
