Harris Blake
Harris Blake (b. November 3, 1929) is a former Republican member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 22 from 2003 to 2013.
Blake was Vice Chair/Member of the Moore County School Board from 1970 to 1976. He served as candidate of the United States House of Representatives from 1985 to 1986.

He defeated challenger Richard Morgan (R) in the primary election on May 4, 2010.[2]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Blake was re-elected to the 22nd District Seat in the North Carolina State Senate, besting Abraham Oudeh (D).[3] Blake raised $46,699 for his campaign, while Oudeh raised $48,630.[4]

Blake attended Elon College.
Blake has worked as Director of Channel 40 TV and Carolina Bank. He used to be President of Blake-Kirby Corporation. In 1980 he was Director of the Executive Committee of First Federal Savings. He was then the President of Pinehurst Hardware in 1982. He worked as Associate Administrator for Farmers Home Administration of the United States Department of Agriculture from 1985 to 1986. He then worked as Secretary/Treasurer of Colonial Abrasives in 1995. In 2000 he was President of Pinehurst South Realty.
Blake and his wife Barbara have one child.
