Harry Claiborne
Harry E. Claiborne (1917-2004) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
Claiborne was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on July 25, 1978, to a seat vacated by Bruce Thompson; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 11, 1978, and received commission that same day. From 1980-1986, he served as the chief judge. He served the District of Nevada until his impeachment and conviction on October 9, 1986. Claiborne passed away on January 19, 2004.
