Harry Coates
Harry E. Coates, Jr. (b. July 11, 1950) is a former Republican member of the Oklahoma State Senate, representing District 28 from 2002 to 2014. Coates did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Coates attended Oklahoma City Southwestern College, the University of Central Oklahoma, and Southwest Technical Institute. His professional experience includes working as a construction consultant.[1]

Coates ran for re-election to the Oklahoma State Senate. He defeated Tim Clem in the primary election on July 27, 2010. He ran unopposed in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010. Vote totals were not reported.[2][3][4][5]

On November 7, 2006, Coates was re-elected to Oklahoma Senate District 28.
Coates raised $107,205 for this campaign, in which he ran unopposed.[6][7]
