Harry Mortenson
Harry Mortenson (b. November 24, 1930) is a former Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly. He represented the 42nd District from 1997 to 2013.
Biography
Mortenson earned his B.S. from Roanoke College and his M.A. from Duke University. His professional experience includes working as the president of Scientific Consulting Firm; a former staff member at Los Alamos Sci Labs from 1962 to 1970; a former senior physicist at Babcock and Wilcox, Lynchburg VA, from 1958 to 1962; and a physicist at EI DuPont, Savanna River Lab, from 1954 to 1958.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Mortenson won re-election to the District 42 Seat in the Nevada Assembly, defeating Carole Donald.[6]
