Harry Randow was the chief judge of the 9th Judicial District Division G in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to this court in 1998 and was re-elected in 2002 and 2008.[1][2] His most recent six-year term expired on December 31, 2014.[3]

Randow ran for re-election to the court in 2014 but was defeated in the November 4 primary.[4][5]

Primary: He was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 23.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Greg Beard and Charles Gravel. [4][5]

Education

He received his B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1967 and his J.D. from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1971.[1]

Career

Randow began his career in 1971 as a private practice attorney, dealing with civil litigation, family law, property and wills. He was then elected to the district court in 1998.[1]
