Harry Teague
Harry Teague was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives. He represented the 2nd District of New Mexico.

Teague is the Democratic candidate for the November 2, 2010 election as he runs for re-election. He faced Republican Steve Pearce.
Teague raised $81,896 between October 1 through 13, while Pearce raised $79,993. Teague had $360,071 in "cash on hand," while Pearce had $366,720.[1]
Voting Record
Frequency of Voting with Democratic Leadership
According to a July 2010 analysis of 1,357 votes cast from January 1, 2009 to June 16, 2010, Teague has voted with the House Democratic leadership 89.3% of the time.[2] That same analysis reported that he also voted with party leadership 93% of the time in 2010.
Washington Post Analysis
A separate analysis from The Washington Post, concluded that he votes 90% of the time with a majority of Democrats in the House of Representatives.[3]
Specific votes
Rep. Teague voted for the stimulus bill.[4] Fifty-seven percent of U.S. voters believed that the stimulus had either hurt the economy (36 percent) or had no impact (21 percent). Thirty-eight percent believed the stimulus helped the economy.[5]
Teague also voted in favor of the "Cash for Clunkers" bill.[6] According to a June 2009 Rasmussen Reports poll, 54 percent of likely U.S. voters opposed Cash for Clunkers, while 35 percent supported it.[7]
Teague supported the "Cap and Trade" bill.[8] Just after the bill’s passage, 42 percent of likely U.S. voters said that cap and trade would hurt the economy, while 19 percent believed that it would help. Another 15 percent said that the bill would have no impact.[9]
