Hart Mankin is a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He joined the court in 1990 after being nominated by President George H.W. Bush. He passed away on May 28, 1996.[1]

Early life and education

Mankin earned his B.A. from the University of the South and went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Houston.[1]

Military service

Mankin served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged.

Personal life

According to his biography, "Judge Mankin lived with his wife in Lewes, Delaware and Washington, D.C. and was the father of three adult children and grandfather of five."[1]
