The city of Dallas, Texas, held elections for mayor and city council on May 9, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 27, 2015. Early voting began on April 27, 2015.
All 14 city council seats were up for election.[3][4] In District 7, candidates included Hasani Burton, Kevin Felder, Baranda J. Fermin, John Lawson, Randall Parker, James Turknett, Juanita Wallace and Tiffinni A. Young. Because no candidate received a majority in the general election, the top-two candidates — Felder and Young — advanced to a runoff election on June 13.[5] Young was the winner.[6] Incumbent Carolyn Davis did not run for re-election.[7]

I admire Mansa Musa for not just acquiring wealth, but the good deeds he did with it. He is a fine example of how those with wealth are in a position to contribute to the progress of society.
I admire Marcus Aurelius for his governing through the perspective of Stoic philosophy. Stoics are able to be flexible, yet pragmatic with excellent foresight.
I admire President Bill Clinton for being one of only two presidents to "balance the budget."
I admire Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for her skills of moderation and consensus building, along with her resilience.
I admire Elon Musk for his innovation and vision. May my bloodline make it to the first colony on Mars.
