Haskins Montgomery (b. February 12, 1952) is a former Democratic member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 34. He was first elected to the chamber in 2007.

Montgomery did not run for re-election in 2015. He is a former alderman and mayor of Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Biography

Montgomery attended Mississippi State University and Jones County Junior College. His professional experience includes working as a farmer, economic developer, and businessman.

Montgomery won re-election to the Mississippi Senate District 34. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. Gary Blakeney ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Montgomery defeated Blakeney in the general election on November 8, 2011.[1]
