Hawaii Board of Education, Proposition 1 (1970)

The Hawaii Board of Education, Proposition 1, also known as Proposition 1, was on the ballot in Hawaii on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The proposition pertained to the method of selecting the board of education, stating “Method of Selecting [sic] Board of Education.”[1]
