Hawaii University of Hawaii Self-Governance, Amendment 1 (2000)
Hawaii Amendment 1 was on the November 7, 2000 election ballot in Hawaii. It passed, with 72% of voters in favor. It gave the University of Hawaii the authority and power of self-governance in matters involving only the internal structure, management and operation of the university.[1]
