Hawaii dog breeding company charged with animal cruelty
May 31, 2011
Hawaii: Prosecutors in Hawaii have charged Bradley International, a dog breeding facility, with 153 counts of second-degree animal cruelty. If found guilty, each count could carry with it a one-year jail sentence and $2,000 fine for officials at the company. The case will be heard in the Kaneohe District Court.[1]
The president of the Hawaiian Humane Society lauded the government interaction and let known that the group had its eyes on Bradley International for years. On June 9th, a representative for the company will respond to the charges in the District Court.[1]
