I have built my career inside county government, working behind the scenes to ensure public funds are managed ethically and responsibly. I understand how county systems function because I work within them every day.
For the past several years, I have served the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, rising through the ranks from Records Specialist to Administrative Assistant II, and now Accounting Analyst.
Today, I proudly serve as the Department Card Administrator, responsible for reviewing and reconciling county-issued card purchases across the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the nation.
In this role, I have strengthened financial oversight, improved processes, and helped ensure taxpayer dollars are used appropriately and efficiently. I understand that every dollar matters because it comes from the people who live and work in Harris County.
I am continuing my degree in Communications, with minors in Finance and Political Science, because I believe leadership requires preparation, discipline, and a commitment to continuous learning. Good government is not about titles or politics. It's about doing the wo- My career in county government has been more than a job. It has been a calling. I have grown from an entry level position into a leadership role by building systems that work smarter and serve the public better. It is a career built on integrity, hard work, and a deep commitment to public service.
- As a lifelong Harris County resident, a mother of three, and the proud daughter of a law enforcement family, I have seen firsthand how county decisions affect families, businesses, and communities. Those experiences shaped my belief that public service should always be rooted in responsibility, fairness, and trust.
- I am ready to take my experience countywide. What I have done behind the scenes at the Sheriff’s Office is exactly what the Treasurer’s Office needs out front: accountability, modernization, and real public service.
