Hearings to be held for Connecticut judges with terms expiring in 2012

Connecticut: In February, the Connecticut Judicial Selection Commission will begin performance reviews for judges with terms expiring in 2012. In Connecticut, judges are selected using a Commission-selection, political appointment method of judicial selection. After an eight-year term, judges must be reviewed by the Commission, renominated by the Governor, and reappointed by the Connecticut State Legislature.[1]
Twenty-seven judges will be interviewed by the commission between February and June of this year. They are:
