Heath Beasley was a 2012 independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Hawaii. Beasley won in the Independent primary on August 11, 2012.[1]

Beasley ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Hawaii. Beasley won the nomination on the Independent ticket.[2] Steve Tataii, Michael Gillespie , Antonio Gimbernat, Mazie Hirono, Arturo Reyes and Ed Case ran in the Democratic primary. Candidates John Carroll, Charles Collins, John Roco, Linda Lingle and Eddie Pirkowski ran in the Republican primary. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was June 5, 2012. The general election took place on November 6, 2012, following a primary on August 11, 2012. Democrat Mazie Hirono won the election.[3][1]
