  • 1. Faith-Driven Stewardship of Public Funds I am running for South Dakota State Treasurer because I believe public office is a calling rooted in stewardship, integrity, and accountability. My faith shapes my commitment to serve honestly, manage taxpayer dollars responsibly, and treat every public dollar as a trust. South Dakota deserves leadership that honors proven conservative principles while remaining transparent, disciplined, and focused on long-term stability for future generations.
  • 2. Proven Business Leadership and Financial Experience With more than 20 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience, I have built and managed businesses that produced over $100 million in revenue across multiple industries. I understand budgets, risk management, cash flow, and accountability. As Treasurer, I will apply real-world financial discipline to safeguard state funds, strengthen fiscal security, modernize processes, and ensure efficient, conservative management of South Dakota’s finances.
  • 3. Building on a Strong Foundation with the 777 Plan South Dakota’s Treasurer’s Office is strong, and my goal is to build on that foundation with thoughtful improvements. My 777 Plan outlines seven guiding values, seven core priorities, and seven commitments to the people of South Dakota. These include returning unclaimed property faster, enhancing transparency, improving communication, protecting trust funds, and ensuring taxpayers always have confidence in how their money is managed.
I am personally passionate about public policy that promotes responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, transparency in government, and long-term fiscal stability. I believe budgets should reflect conservative values—living within our means, minimizing waste, and protecting public trust funds for future generations. I am also passionate about policies that improve financial accountability, modernize government systems to serve citizens more efficiently, and ensure unclaimed property is returned promptly to its rightful owners. Above all, I care deeply about preserving public confidence in government by leading with integrity, clear communication, and a commitment to serving the people rather than political interests.
