I am a single mother of two. I am no stranger to struggle or poverty. Through the opportunity in our country, I was able to get off welfare buy a house and still put food on the table. Government officials’ sole purpose is to protect our unalienable Rights, We are all equal and granted the same humanitarian rights, among these are “ Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” I am passionate about our constitutional rights and emboldening “We The People,” to unite and become proud Americans again.
  • I want to uphold the constitution and resurrect some of our constitutional rights we have seemed to lose sight of. Human rights are fundamental and include our freedom of speech and our rights to protest. Protecting our citizens from corporations and governmental bodies that have gotten too large and taken too much control is paramount.
  • The next key issue is eliminating government spending and wasting our tax dollars. I think balancing the budget is of high importance and providing a way in which Americans can afford and have access to healthy food, affordable healthcare, clean water, and safe schools and communities.
  • I need to mention that border security is of upmost importance as well. It is a humanitarian crisis at the border and the current administration and his party seemed to have failed and even destroy something that was working. Not saying it was perfect but it was better than what's in place now.
I am extremely passionate about making sure citizens in the United States of America do not lose our God given and constitutional rights. Government officials’ sole purpose is to protect our unalienable rights. We are all equal and granted the same humanitarian rights, among these are “ Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” I am passionate about protecting our constitutional rights and emboldening “We The People,” to unite and become proud Americans again. Freedom of speech is the foundation that supports the whole house. I believe this foundation is starting to shift and a repair is desperately needed. Everywhere I turn I see people afraid to speak up anymore. It’s that silence through fear, intimidation, and censorship that’s gotten us where we are today. I am passionate about being that voice that gets heard and representing my district in a Democratic way in which we can come together and peacefully debate and come up with solutions that are diplomatic. Upholding the constitution is number one. When we lose our freedom of speech we lose everything. I keep seeing things be impressed upon us that the majority didn’t want. We need to exercise our rights before it’s too late. We the people need to come together on common issues because at the end of the day most of us want the same things. I believe that’s honesty from unbiased media, a stable economy, faith in our elected officials, healthcare and the ability to put a roof over our heads and feed our families.
I am very honest. I can see both sides and be a uniting person. I am not afraid to speak my mind even if I will be ridiculed.
I want to be remembered as someone who speaks truth and does the right thing even when it’s Hard. I want to motivate others to speak up and take action as well.
Not necessarily. No I think it’s almost better if we don’t have groomed politicians implanted by the establishment. I believe having people that are average hard working citizens that didn’t come from prestige or a lineage of political power and wealth would do a better job representing the people within their districts and communities.
The greatest challenge for the United States over the next decade is that there are people and or forces that are trying to knock it out of being the number one super power. This may or may not be ok but from the perspective of being the leading Nation in the world it’s not looking good. The 32 trillion dollar deficit is a big concern. The way that large corporations control the government officials with lobbying is troublesome. It begs the question as to whether or not we even have a free market anymore. It seems as though our media is bought and paid for as well. I think a huge challenge is going to involve social media and the big tech giants. They are supposedly private enterprise but when the majority of the people are getting their news and information that’s censored and regulated through biased algorithms, then I see a major problem with social media and big tech being a problem for our democracy. Social media and legacy media can sway elections. I also see Artificial Intelligence being a potential threat. AI is also programmed so who is doing the programming will matter a great deal.
I am not opposed to term limits. I think since the president is capped at 8 years, it would be plausible to have limits on the house and senate as well.
Yes Compromise is absolutely necessary without it we wouldn’t be able to be diplomatic and diverse or allow for everyone to have a say. There maybe some things a policymaker would have to refuse to budge on but I think compromise is important in all healthy and meaningful relationships.
