Heather B. Navarro was a member of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen in Missouri, representing Ward 28. Navarro assumed office in 2017. Navarro left office on January 24, 2022.
Navarro (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the St. Louis Board of Aldermen to represent Ward 28 in Missouri. Navarro won in the general election on April 2, 2019.
Navarro won a first term in the special election on July 11, 2017. This special election was held to replace Lyda Krewson, who was elected mayor of St. Louis on April 4, 2017, and who resigned her Board of Alderman seat on April 18, 2017.[1]
Navaro resigned from her Board of Alderman seat on January 24, 2022, to take a position at Washington University. [2]

A special election was held on July 11, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by Ward 28 Alderwoman Lyda Krewson's (D) election to mayor in April. Heather Navarro (D) defeated Jerome Bauer (Green), Steve Roberts (Independent), and Celeste Vossmeyer (Independent) in the special election for Ward 28 of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen.
