I am not a politician. I am a wife of 15 years to a small business owner, mother of 2 girls, foster parent and a nurse of 15 years. I have decided to run for State Representative to bring a conservative voice to the statehouse and to represent the people, not the party. If elected I promise to be a public servant and to do my best to represent District 20 constituents.
  • I support parental rights and transparency in education and will be a strong conservative voice willing to fight for this issue.
  • I support medical freedom and I will stand against government overreach.
  • I support lower taxes and accountability for how Hoosier’s hard earned dollars are spent
I am concerned about taxation without representation. I believe we pay taxes and there is no accountability for how that money is spent. I also believe we need term limits. We have too many legislators that have forgotten who they work for and have made their career by being a politician instead of a public servant. I support our Constitutional rights and will work to protect our freedoms. I am 100% pro-life and will fight to abolish abortion in Indiana.
Jesus, because He is a perfect example of how we are to love others and consider others better than ourselves. This is not easy to do, but He did it perfectly. He also showed us how to speak truth in love and to not be ashamed of speaking the truth, even if some may not like it. He was the prime example of a conservative voice.
Listen and be a voice for the people that are being represented and bring up their issues and bills at the statehouse. Advocate for the needs of the people being represented.
Do what is right, even when no one is watching because there is someone that is always watching.
Anne of Green Gables because it tells a story of an orphan that had a positive attitude and imagination even when things were bad and takes me back to a time period when life was a lot simpler
Running for office for the first time in my life
Ideally, the Governor is the commander and chief and is respected by the legislature but they also are to hold him or her accountable and be the checks and balance that will reign in any tyrannical behavior. The Governor should lead with the heart of a servant.
Preventing Federal Government overreach into our state, preventing foreign interest groups from influencing our state policies, and getting back to listening to the voice of the people rather than the lobbyists.
Benefits include easier to pass legislation but drawbacks are decreased checks and balances.
I don’t think it matters either way. The job is to serve the people and my opponent didn’t have any previous political experience or a degree when he took office but I would assume that he has learned more about government and politics along the way.
Including the constituents ideas and perspectives and making sure it is fair and each district has roughly the same amount of constituents.

Family, Children and Human Affairs

Public Health
One of the constituents said he did not want to receive the covid vaccine but he was told he had to in order to keep his job at the steel mill, so he did, but he is very much opposed to vaccine mandates and unfortunately his medical freedom wasn’t protected.
Yes, this should not just be left up to the Governor.
Yes, it is necessary for any relationship with another person.
