Board incumbent Barbara Fine was successful in her bid for re-election and was joined in her victory by newcomers Betsy Bates and Heather Reiter. They defeated challenger Saundra Garber. Ed Shew filed to run in the election, but his name did not appear on the ballot.[2][3]
