My name is Hector Abel Selin. I was born in Miami and I’ve lived in Hialeah my entire life. As a kid, I grew up playing sports in the Hialeah parks system. After high school, I started working for the City of Hialeah Parks & Recreation Department. I would eventually become one of the Directors for the parks and I served my community for 14 years. I organized sports leagues for children and adults. I worked with City senior programs at Wilde Community Center and Special Population programs at Buck Dent Park. I also ran City wide events such as the annual Canned Food Drive for Hialeah families in need. I have my Bachelors Degree in Leadership/Business from Saint Thomas University. Since I left the City in 2013, I’ve been learning business as I’ve worked in the private sector. Now, I’m ready to return to Hialeah and work for my people and my City. I was made by the people, for the people.
I am passionate about people’s living conditions and their overall way of life. I am passionate about prioritizing public safety for our residents. And finally, I am passionate about reminding people that work for the government that they’re working for the people.
Donald J. Trump, because he does what he says he’s going to do. He’s a man that keeps his promises. And everything he does, he does it with the best interest of the American people in mind.
