Heide Herrmann
Heide Herrmann is a magistrate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Chief Judge Robert E. Morin appointed Herrmann to the court in January 2017.[1]
Education
Herrmann received a B.A. in environmental geology and English, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University. She obtained a J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve School of Law.[1]
Career
Herrmann was a law clerk to the Hon. Solomon Oliver of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio from 1999 to 2000. Her professional career includes working as an associate with Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, in Cleveland, Ohio. She also practiced with the Department of Justice for 16 years and as an assistant U.S. attorney in the D.C. United States Attorney's Office from 2008 to 2014.[1]
