Heidi Davis is a judge on the Fifth Circuit Court in Hernando County, Florida. She was appointed to this position by Gov. Charlie Crist on September 23, 2010 and began serving the following December. She replaced retired Judge Jack Springstead. Her current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2]

Education

Davis received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and her law degree from the Stetson University College of Law.[1]

Career

Davis began her legal career in 1998 as a judicial law clerk in Lake County. The following year, she joined the Orlando law firm of Alvarez, Sambol, Winthrop and Madison. In 2001, she returned to the position of law clerk. She then became a Lake County judicial magistrate in 2004. In 2010, on her fourth attempt at a Circuit Court judgeship, she was appointed.[3]

2012 election

Davis was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4]
