Heidi L. Linngren is a judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in South Dakota. She was elected in November 2014, effective January 2015, for a term that expires in 2022.[1]

Linngren is a former magistrate for the Seventh Judicial Circuit. She was appointed in November 2011.[2]

General: She defeated Jane M. Farrell in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.8 percent of the vote. [1] 

Education

Linngren received her undergraduate degree from Northern State University in 1997 and her J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2000.[2]

Career

Linngren began her legal career as a law clerk, then served in the Public Defender's Office in Pennington County. After spending some time in private practice, Linngren worked as assistant attorney general in Rapid City from 2004 to 2011.[2]
