I am NOT a politician.

I AM a voter. I AM a concerned citizen. I AM a taxpayer. I AM a homeowner. I AM a Christ follower. I AM a mother.

I AM a wife.
  • I will continue the fight against high density housing in Monroe that I began as a citizen in 2022. I have attended many and spoken in several meetings on different issues. I have seen our current council make both fine and terrible decisions for our city. I came to the realization that if I am willing to protest the decisions being made I should be willing to do more. One reason we chose to live in Monroe was the small town feel so near the city of Charlotte. I want to prevent Monroe from being swallowed up by Charlotte.
  • Our city roads need help! I want to strengthen our city's infrastructure while lowering our tax burden. It may not be easy but it is possible as new businesses come to our city bringing good jobs with them and growing our economy.
  • Preserving law and order in our city is beneficial and vitally important for every single person who lives in our city. As a city councilperson I will continue to support our local LEO in this goal to keep Monroe a safe city.
Social issues are important but that is not the bulk of what a city councilperson does.
Supporting free speech and the US Constitution as a whole should be a priority of any elected official in the United States. If it is not, they are doing it wrong.
