Independence Township resident Heidi Warrington, a Republican activist and former district representative for Schroeder, is running for the Michigan House of Representatives to replace Schroeder, who died after a three-year battle with cancer. Heidi Warrington is a lifelong resident of Clarkston and Waterford, mother of two children, and Chief Nursing Officer of Common Ground. Common Ground is a 23-Million-dollar nonprofit contracted for Crisis Services and Mental Health in Oakland County. Heidi is Pro-Trump, Pro-Life, Pro-Election Integrity, Pro-Business and Pro-Traditional Family Values.

” On September 27, just four days before she passed away, State Rep. Andrea Schroeder urged me to run to replace her in the Michigan House of Representatives,” Warrington said. “She sent me a letter in which she said, ’I would love to see you run for state representative one day as I know you will serve the community as you have served me and that you will lead our district and state the way I have. You will be my legacy.’
  • Protecting Senior Citizens
  • Doing whatever the state can to fight Inflation and High Prices
  • Fight to assure schools do not teach Critical Race Theory
Healthcare, medical freedoms, mental health, education, election integrity and government transparency.
Being known as the one to take a stand against unconstitutional practices and protecting our civil liberties.
My very first job was working for other in my neighborhood, helping them with their children. It didn't pay much money, but the experience and knowledge I gained serve me well still today. There is value in opportunities others overlook if you have the foresight, skill set, and determination to see it through.
Our governor, state legislature, and even local governments need to have relationships to stimulate communication. I am very frustrated with communication through media channels and not communication between organizations and districts. We need to be able to work together and communicate to be able to work for all residents of MI.

The fighting and negativity between the 2 current parties is not benefiting Michigan residents. There will of course always be disagreements and different perspectives, this is what makes freedom in our country so great. But we need to find the common ground for issues and work to get those views passed.

Forward is a journey, not a destination.
Inflation, supply-chain disruptions, a tight labor market and uncertainty about the impact of the omicron COVID-19 variant could represent challenges for Michigan's economy this year and for years to come.
Yes

I believe compromise is necessary for the success of our country - as it always has been. Without compromise on what did or did not go into it, there would have been no Declaration of Independence. Without the compromise of adding the Bill of Rights, the Constitution would not have been ratified. Though our nation's history is short compared to many others', it is full of compromise.

Compromise is an important element in lawmaking, the search for a combination of ideas that will not only provide the highest level of satisfaction for each and all of the groups whose interests are in conflict, but also, of necessity, attract the support of the needed majority to get the bill passed. But this is not all.
