Helen Jackson Frye (b. 1930) is a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Judge Frye was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on December 3, 1979, to a seat created by 92 Stat. 1629.[1] She was confirmed by the Senate on February 20, 1980, and received commission that same day. She assumed senior status on December 10, 1995. Frye was succeeded in this position by Garr King. Frye passed away on April 21, 2011.
