Helen Hudson (Georgia)
Helen Hudson (b. December 22, 1950) is a former Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 124 from 1997 to 2013. She served on the Hancock County Commission of District 2 from 1995-96, as mayor of Sparta from 1986-92, and on the city council from 1982 to 86.
Biography
Hudson's professional experience includes working as director of community affairs for ABC Home Health, director of community affairs with Healthmaster Home Health, and president/owner of Oconee Valley Home Health.[1]

Hudson ran for re-election to the 124th District seat in 2010. She did not have any opposition in the July 20 primary. Hudson defeated Charles Ashfield (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]

2008
In 2008, Hudson was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 124. Hudson (D) finished with 11,129 votes while her opponent Scott Nutial (R) finished with 7,748 votes.[3] Hudson raised $21,800 for her campaign fund.[4]
