Rosales was defeated in the 2011 election for New Jersey Senate District 20. She ran unopposed in the primary on June 7, 2011. Rosales was defeated by Democratic incumbent Raymond Lesniak in the general election which took place on November 8, 2011. Raymond Lesniak defeated primary challenger Jerome Dunn in the June 7, 2011 Democratic primary.[1]
