Helen Rosenthal
Helen Rosenthal (Democratic Party) was a member of the New York City Council, representing District 6. Rosenthal assumed office in 2013. Rosenthal left office on December 31, 2021.

Biography
Rosenthal earned her B.A. from Michigan State University. She later received her master's degree in public health from Yale University.[1]

Under New York law, candidates who run unopposed in a primary or general election win the nomination or election automatically, and their names do not appear on the ballot.[2] Incumbent Helen Rosenthal (D) defeated Hyman Drusin (R) and William Raudenbush (Stand Up Together) in the general election for the District 6 seat on the New York City Council.
