Helios Joe Hernandez II
Helios Joe Hernandez II was a judge for the Superior Court of Riverside County in California. Governor Gray Davis appointed Hernandez in January 2001 to succeed Curtis R. Hinman.[1][2] Hernandez retired in 2018.
Education
Hernandez received an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.[3]
Military service
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Hernandez joined the United States Navy. He served in the Vietnam War.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Hernandez was a supervising deputy district attorney in Riverside County. He previously worked in private practice.[2]

As an unopposed incumbent, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.
